About me
I’m Tate Greenfield - coach, mentor, and the guy who’s going to make your transformation simple.
After years of watching men & women waste time on random workouts, impossible diets, and "faking" their confidence, I built TG Coaching to solve the two real problems: no clear plan, and no real accountability.
I'm 21 years old, a university student in San Diego, studying Kinesiology. Not only do I hold multiple certifications, but I have also invested hundreds, if not thousands, of hours in learning, experimenting, and refining what truly changes a person's life.
Where I Started
I didn’t grow up confident. I was chubby, lonely, and unsure of myself. As I got older, I developed the dreaded “skinny-fat” look - a big stomach, droopy chest, and small, skinny arms.

My journey began in the middle of COVID. Stuck at home, I started doing P90X workouts with my brother and dad, pressing a plastic bar with plastic weights for as many reps as possible. When gyms reopened, I committed to working out entirely for the first time in my life. I showed up consistently, ate with intention, and slowly began to transform my body.
What I Learned
At first, I thought fitness alone was the answer. But as I got stronger physically, I realized I was also getting stronger mentally. I was gaining discipline, self-respect, and the confidence to take control of my life.

I know how it feels to be overweight. I know how it feels to be skinny. I know how it feels to be insecure, to doubt yourself, and to lack confidence in every room you walk into. And I know how to break free from it - because I’ve done it.
Why I Coach
Most men in their 20s try to “fix themselves” through a gym membership, YouTube videos, or vague advice from friends. But without a structured plan, accountability, and the right mindset, they stay stuck in the same cycle.

My coaching exists to break that cycle. I guide men through a process that builds lasting confidence, using fitness, mindset development, and structured lifestyle changes as its foundation. The goal isn’t just to get in shape - it’s to become the kind of man who’s in control of his body, his mind, and his life.
My Philosophy
-
Mindset First, Then Action – Lasting change starts in your head before it shows in your body.
-
Structure Over Motivation – You won’t always feel motivated, but you can always follow a proven plan.
-
Confidence Through Capability – Real confidence comes from knowing you can handle anything life throws at you.
-
No Quick Fixes – We build habits you can sustain for life.
If you're ready to stop wondering if things will ever change—and start building the body, mindset, and life you're proud of —I'll be here to guide you every step of the way.
